So, I have divided the students into two categories. The first is only study in which the

focus is only college, meaning you are doing research, doing academic work, doing projects. You are doing programming along with content watching etc.  Second one is Study Plus which means you are not only studying but also doing some extra work like content creation, game development, animation, designing, 3D etc. Gaming has become extra, there will be two more categories in it. If you are going to learn AI ML then you will also come in this category and if you like designing in architect or mechanical, then you will also come in this category. Now let's go to the most important part of the laptop which is the CPU.

Look, the laptop is a long term investment, that means you will do a course of 3-4 years, many people will go to do masters also, some people will also do jobs, even then that laptop is It will be used for example, see, I have 10 year old laptop and when I completed my course, I used to work on this laptop in my job, that is why while choosing the processor, we have to choose only the latest generation, but 13th generation is the latest. 12th generation is also very good, you can consider it too, but the question is, brother, there are so many processors to choose from.

It is capable of handling all the tasks. If the budget is up to BDT 50,000 then you have Intel's integrated graphics. If you go above BDT 51,000 then I would recommend you to choose IrishXe which is slightly better than Intel UHD. 

Now, if you’re study plus person then you can choose Nvidia Graphics Laptop. Because, Nvidia has CUDA cores, that boost CPU faster processing, specially in AI Machine Learning, 3D rendering and Game Development.

Nowadays RTX3050 GPU is excellent, which is recommendable and good, 4GB is also very good but if you have a budget, I would recommend the 6GB GPU, you can work very smoothly in it and every GPU has a TGP power. So, the higher the TGP, the better it performs, so definitely check how much TGB is there in that laptop.

Now the Laptop with 3050 graphic cards start around BDT 80,000 but if your budget is BDT 70000, then you will get only RTX 2050. 

RAM & SSD

The next most important thing is your RAM and SSD. If you are buying a laptop for study orientation, then according to me you will be fine with 8GB RAM, but buy such a laptop in which you can upgrade the RAM up to 16GB so that if you agree, then you can go ahead. If you need a little more processing power then you can increase it to 16GB by adding 8GB RAM.

If your budget is below BDT 70000 then generally you get to see only DDR4 but above BDT 70000 now DDR5 RAM is also available and now that Time is gone where there used to be a huge price gap between ddr4 and dd5, now you can get both at the same price and ddr5 is the latest and has higher read and write speed, that is why I would recommend that you go above BDT 70000 If you can afford then take ddr5 and if you are a

study plus person then according to me 16gb should be minimum and you must check whether you can upgrade or not because in some laptops 16gb is max, according to me it is 24gb or There should be up to 32GB expandable RAM. Now generally only SSD comes. If below 70000 then you get Gen 3. If you are going above 85000 then try to get Gen 4. There should also be an extra slot so that you can upgrade your SSD also. 

Laptop Screen or Display

screen, if you are a study person then the screen doesn't matter that much and especially if you are in the budget, yes try to get a good brightness, up to 250 or 300 nits and anti glare, then your work is good. It will work well if you have Study Plus and do some color related work. If you have color accuracy then definitely check whether it is 100% DCI P3 or 100% sRGB and lastly avoid 2 in 1 laptop especially if you are an architect or designing. If you are not a student, two in one laptops are a little expensive, meaning if both have the same specs, then the two in one laptop will be approximately BDT 10,000 to 15,000 more expensive. If you have that much of a budget, then invest in the specs and not in the touch screen and another one.
